For The Oaklands, our interior designer client turned to SWD to deliver a complete package of bespoke doors and joinery. Already familiar with SWD’s reputation for craftsmanship, the collaboration was a natural next step in the evolution of their home. Bespoke Doors & Hardware

At the heart of the design are Model R101 doors; chosen for their balanced proportions and timeless panelled form. Finished in a rich dark tone, they provide depth and character throughout the property. Each one is paired with the Hadley Lever On Rose in bronze; a detail that adds warmth and complements the client’s chosen palette.

Two bespoke fire-rated glass doors were also commissioned. These combine safety and technical performance with the elegance expected within a bespoke home. Their presence highlights an important aspect of SWD’s work: blending aesthetic refinement with practical function, without compromise. 

Bespoke Joinery

Beyond doors, SWD also produced a full suite of bespoke joinery. Working to the client’s specifications, every piece was manufactured to the millimetre, with custom veneer finishes that were utilised exclusively for the project. From the grand media unit creating a focal point within the living space, to the refined detailing of the bedroom furniture; the joinery reinforces one of SWD’s core strengths: the ability to unify a home through materials, finish, and detail.

Although the client had a clear vision for the interior design of the property, SWD’s role was to translate this vision into reality. From beading profiles to customised veneers, every detail was produced to exact specifications.
